Q . . . I thought Moringa seeds were supposed to sprout in less than two weeks.  It's been that long and nothing's come up. Am I doing something wrong?

--Jack

A . . .Not wrong, necessarily, but this often means you are not watering them enough. You've probably heard the common scare about "don't overwater Moringa!" I've found that this hardy plant actually loves water. It just doesn't like to sit in puddles. If you've planted the seeds in potting soil and the container has a hole in the bottom-- water away! Several times a day, in fact, until plants appear. If there's too much water it will flow through. Moringa seeds sprout faster if well watered, as quickly as one week. Best wishes for good health!

"Scientifically speaking, Moringa sounds like magic. It can rebuild weak bones, enrich anemic blood and enable a malnourished mother to nurse her starving baby. Ounce for ounce, it has the calcium of four glasses of milk, the Vitamin C of seven oranges and the potassium of three bananas.

"Sounds like your Power Bar, you say? Well, consider this...Doctors use it to treat diabetes in West Africa and high blood pressure in India.

"And it's not only good for you, it's delicious."
